Meridian Village Independent Living – Glen Carbon, Illinois

The first component of Lutheran Senior Services’ Continuing Care Retirement Community in Glen Carbon, Illinois was a three-story independent living facility with sixty-six units, shown on the western portion of the plan below.  Several years later, an addition to the independent living facility was built, shown on the eastern portion of the plan, adding thirty-three independent living units.  A chapel, large multi-purpose room and activity room were also added during this phase.  Grubbs & Associates served as architect of record for both project components.
